Gift Aid donations for Somalia

If you are a UK taxpayer giving to a registered UK charity, the Treasury is happy to boost the value of your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you – if you sign a simple declaration saying you want that to happen (see below).

Behind the name Zamzam Foundation UK is a UK-registered charity called the Somali Relief and Development Forum (SRDF), which means we can claim Gift Aid on your donations through the government’s Gift Aid tax relief scheme for charities – even though the projects we implement are in Somalia and not in the UK.

We can claim back 25p for every £1 you donate from the government, on your behalf.

By completing the declaration form below, you can empower us to claim Gift Aid on your donations over the last four years, and any donations you make in the future – unless or until you tell us otherwise.
